Edgard Varèse: Density 21.5 (solo flute)

Flutist Claire Marchand performs this composition by Edgard Varèse, created at the request of Georges Barrère (1876-1944), who wanted to release his platinum flute made by William S. Haynes, the density of platinum being close to 21.5 grams per cubic centimeter.
